Perspective

I had visitors at school tonight before my parent meeting:)

Grey loves visiting school! He asks a MILLION questions about things you would never notice unless you look at it from his perspective. Like when he asked "what are those things?" as he pointed to the American flag on the board. Appropriate for today huh?

Problem Solving at its Finest

This is what happens when I try to reason with my 3 year old about picking up toys.

Halloween 2013

We had a fun family-filled Halloween! Grey was a pirate of course--Argh!!  And little Miss Elizabeth was a sweet little lamb.

A few days before Halloween GG brought over her traditional painted pumpkin, and this year she had to bring 2! And, as always they are super cute!
This year Greyson had a big entourage while he trick-or-treated.  He had Mommy, Daddy, GG, Pops, Nana, and of course Elizabeth. Elizabeth got to stroll along with Nana as we all took turns walking Grey up to the door to trick-or-treat.

Every time he would walk up to a door he would throw down his "hook for a hand" and bucket and knock, then hurriedly pick them both up in time to say trick-or-treat.  So funny! After each house he would then ask, "Can I do another ring bell?!" in a super excited voice! Love this kid when he's excited!

Uncle Tom was really nice and stayed at home to man the door for our trick-or-treaters.
The Great Pumpkin also visited and brought Grey and Elizabeth some treats.

As you can see we had SO MUCH FUN! Yay Halloween!!  Until next year.....:)

Getting ready...

We love Halloween at this house! Grey is definitely related to us because he has been telling us, "Halloween is great!" And "I yuuuuv Halloween!"

So, to get ready for our week long spookfest, we "carved" a pumpkin!

Fall at the Arboretum

Elizabeth is 3 Months Old!

This pretty lady is 3 months old! She has been such a good baby for us this last month! She's so happy and has started to laugh a lot!

She's sleeping through the night for the most part, but at least once or twice a week she wakes up at 3:30 am on the dot for some reason. So weird!

She's a good eater, and is pretty good about staying on schedule. Despite the fact that she is eating about 5 oz a feeding, she is still so much smaller than her big brother was at this age. She's around 11 lbs now (don't have an exact number because we haven't been to the doctor--knock on wood!), but she's still swimming in the 3-6 months clothes and Grey has always been ahead of schedule when it comes to clothes.

We take a daily photo just like we did with Grey for his grandparents, but it's so much fun with Elizabeth because of all the clothes! I love it! My favorite part of the weekend is getting all of her clothes and bows ready for the week! In the photo above she is wearing a blue dress that I wore as a baby.

And finally, she is SO obsessed with her hands! She's always holding them and staring at them. So funny!

Sweet face!

Pumpkin Patch!

We went to the Flower Mound pumpkin patch on Saturday! Wild man Grey got to meet up with his buddies Porter and Grant! It was freezing (which was crazy!), but fun!

Spooky pumpkins!
